Board  Membership

DO YOU CARE ABOUT building resiliency AND livability IN LENTS?
WANT TO SUPPORT YOUR COMMUNITY IN A MEANINGFUL WAY?

We need your leadership on our Board!

CONTACT US!
Green Lents provides education, volunteer, and leadership opportunities in and around the Lents neighborhood to promote a thriving, livable community. Check out our 2021 impact report here.

We work to ensure that sustainability is accessible to everyone in our neighborhood. We do work to improve housing affordability, fight for clean air, restore pollinator habitat, ensure access to tools and gardening supplies, steward a community orchard, and engage Lents residents on other key livability issues.

As a board member, you will help provide direction in achieving our mission and goals, and bring your leadership to our community projects. Your participation will play an important role in decision-making and strategic planning activities that influence the future of our organization.

Green Lents is committed to having a diverse representation of the Lents populations on our board, as well as engaging the skills & leadership of BIPOC, low-income persons, LGBTQIA+ people, youth, and people with disabilities. People from these and other historically marginalized backgrounds and communities are strongly encouraged to apply!

Inquiry process:

1. Attend a board meeting and/or meet with a current board member: This is an opportunity to check us out before you commit to applying! Board meetings are monthly on the 3rd Monday, 6-7:30pm (subject to change), currently held on Zoom. Send us an email at getinvolved@greenlents.org for more information.

2. Fill out this quick Board Inquiry Form. You can fill it out before or after attending a board meeting.
