Green Lents provides education, volunteer, and leadership opportunities in and around the Lents neighborhood to promote a thriving, livable community. Our goal is to ensure that sustainability is accessible to everyone in our neighborhood by engaging community members on affordable housing advocacy, air quality advocacy, pollinator habitat restoration, free access to tools, and other livability issues. As a board member, you will help implement our mission and goals. You will also play an important part in decision-making and strategic planning activities that influence the future of this organization. We aim to have a diverse representation of Lents on our board; both Lents and non-Lents residents can apply.
Green Lents is committed to engaging the skills and leadership of people of color, low-income persons, LGBTQIA+ people, youth, and people with disabilities. People from these and other historically marginalized backgrounds and communities are strongly encouraged to apply!
