Do you care about livability
and affordability in Lents?
We need your leadership on our Board!
Green Lents provides education, volunteer, and leadership opportunities in and around the Lents neighborhood to promote a thriving, livable community.
We work to ensure that sustainability is accessible to everyone in our neighborhood by helping community members make their projects happen. We do work to improve housing affordability, fight for clean air, restore pollinator habitat, ensure free access to tools, steward the Malden Court Community Orchard, and engage Lents residents on other key livability issues.
As a board member, you will help implement our mission and goals, and bring your leadership to our community projects. You can even start a project of your own! Your participation will play an important role in decision-making and strategic planning activities that influence the future of our organization. We aim to represent the diversity of Lents on our board; both Lents and non-Lents residents can apply.
Green Lents is committed to engaging the skills and leadership of people of color, low-income persons, LGBTQIA+ people, youth, and people with disabilities. People from these and other historically marginalized backgrounds and communities are strongly encouraged to apply!
